Miss Tania Adib

BSc MBBS MD MRCOG
Specialist in menopause and vaginal health

Miss Tania Adib is a consultant gynaecologist and menopause specialist with expertise in HRT and hormonal conditions, such as the treatment in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and endometriosis. Vaginal and vulval conditions, such as pelvic pain, vaginal atrophy, genitourinary syndrome of menopause skin disorders of the genitals and vulvodynia are also areas of specialism.

Miss Adib has a background in oncology. She completed her medical training at the University of London in 1992 and undertook postgraduate training in Gynaecological Oncology at St George's and The Royal Marsden hospitals.

In 2005 Miss Adib was awarded an MD for her research into molecular profiling of the various genes that are implicated in epithelial ovarian cancer. Screening and the early diagnosis of cancer is specialism and Miss Adib offers wellness checks and cancer screening, such as colposcopy at her clinic.

Miss Adib’s work in the field of gynaecological cancers shaped an interest in symptoms and side effects from cancer treatments such as early menopause and how they can be treated without hormones. This was further developed through her work as a trustee for the Breast Cancer Haven charity.

Today, Miss Adib’s background and expertise in both hormonal and non-hormonal therapies for menopause mean she can offer patients holistic treatment plans tailored precisely to their needs. Her clinic combines traditional medicine with the most innovative technology for vaginal and vulval health, such as laser and radiofrequency treatments, alongside advice on lifestyle, nutrition, supplements and stress management.

The menopause can actually be a whole new beginning. I want women to really get the most out of their lives – there is no need to be held back by symptoms which can be treated and managed.
